Enabling Tab Focus in Safari and Firefox: A Quick Guide

How to Enable TabFocus on Safari

  1. Open the Safari browser on your device.
  2. Click on the Safari menu located in the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu:

  4. Click on the Advanced tab in the Preferences window.
  5. Check the box that says Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage.

How to Enable TabFocus on Firefox

  1. Open the Firefox browser on your device.
  2. Type about:config in the address bar and hit Enter.

  3. Click on the Accept the Risk and Continue button if it appears:

  4. In the search bar, type accessibility.tabfocus.

  5. Double-click on the accessibility.tabfocus preference to change its value to 7.
  6. Click the V button to save the changes.
