The main screen shows a the UserWay homepage.
|If you still don’t have an accessibility statement, you can visit userway.org. Click on the hamburger menu and select “Accessibility Statement Generator.”||The cursor clicks on the three lines indicating where the menu is on the top-left of the UserWay homepage.|
A menu appears and she clicks on “Accessibility Statement Generator.”
|Once you fill in the details, click on “Generate My Accessibility Statement” and you’ll get a custom accessibility statement for free.||The main page changes to show a form titled “Accessibility Statement Generator.”|
The cursor moves to click on the “Generate My Accessibility Statement” button.
|Here it is.||The page changes to show the custom accessibility statement text.|
|You should create a new page on your site under the URL domain.com/accessibility.||The image does not change.|
|And then copy and paste the statement below.||The image does not change.|
|Now let’s go to our sample site and I’ll show you how to change your accessibility statement link.||The UserWay webpage fades out.|

|So to change the link, click on the widget.||The cursor moves to click on the UserWay widget on the top-right of the screen.|
|In the widget’s footer you can read jdelapuente’s accessibility statement.||The cursor moves down to hover over text at the bottom of the widget menu that says “jdelapuente’s Accessibility Statement.”|
The website image fades to another movie still showing animated aliens and an astronaut looking at the camera.
|And right now it links to the homepage.||The website image fades to show two people dressed in chainmail.|
|So to change this click on “Manage.”||The cursor clicks on the “Manage” link in the widget’s footer below the accessibility statement link.|
|And in Widget Settings find Change Accessibility Statement Link.||The Widget menu appears and the cursor moves to the “Change Accessibility Statement” link.|
The website image changes to show a man and woman standing in the rain surrounded by apes.
|Paste the new URL. And you can also change the accessibility link text.||The widget menu changes to a form to change the accessibility link. A new URL is pasted in the proper field. The cursor hovers over the field to modify the text that appears for the Accessibility Statement link.|
|I’m going to do that now. So I will change this for our accessibility statement.||The cursor clicks in the field to modify the text, highlights the word “jdelapuente’s” and changes it to “Our.”|
The website image changes to various cartoon and animated people.
|Now you can apply the changes to the current site. Or you can apply the changes to all the sites that you manage. In this tutorial, I’m just going to apply it to the current site.||The cursor moves to click on the button saying “Apply to jdelapuente.”|
|Now let’s go back to the main menu and see if the changes have been applied. Click on “Main Menu.”||The cursor clicks on the “Main Menu” link in the widget menu footer. The menu changes back to the widget settings menu.|
The website image changes to show the animated aliens and an astronaut looking at the camera. It changes again to show superheroes standing and looking at the camera.
|Refresh your site.||The site refreshes and the widget menu disappears.|

|Click on the widget.||The cursor moves to the upper-right corner of the screen and clicks on the UserWay widget.|
|And in the footer we can read our accessibility statement.||The widget menu opens and the new link text appears in the footer.|
The website image shows superheroes looking upward.
|And if we click on it, it will take us to our accessibility statement.||The cursor clicks on the “Our Accessibility Statement” link and the webpage with the accessibility statement appears.|
