Enabling Tab Focus in Safari and Firefox: A Quick Guide

Enable TabFocus on Safari:

  1. Open Safari browser on your device.
  2. Click on the “Safari” menu located in the top left corner
    of your screen.
  3. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu:

  4. Click on the “Advanced” tab in the Preferences window:
  5. Check the box that says
    “Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage.”

Enable TabFocus on Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox browser on your device.
  2. Type “about:config” in the address bar and hit
    Enter.

  3. Click on the “Accept the Risk and Continue” button if it appears:

  4. In the search bar, type “accessibility.tabfocus”.

  5. Double-click on the “accessibility.tabfocus” preference
    to change its value to “7”.
  6. Click the “V” button to save the changes.
