The free widget does give your website some level of accessibility through user-triggered remediations. However, it does not have some many other remediations. For example, it doesn’t have a screen reader or smart contrast. It also misses the AI components, such as alt tags for images and fixes for broken links, which allow screen readers to successfully navigate the website.
The widget itself is only 23 kilobytes and it’s placed right before the closing body tag of the HTML code, which means that it’s the last thing to load on the page.
In the first few loads, it will try to generate all the image alt text. But it will not affect the page loading speed or user experience. It's small and your users won't notice any difference.
